This beautiful Herdwick x Swaledale blend is from James Rebanks' (author of The Shepherd's Life) farm, Racy Ghyll. It has been worsted spun which removes much of the white guard hairs, making for a softer handle. We used the dark grey and brown fleece from the younger Herdwicks and blended them with the bouncier white of the Swaledale fleece to make a wool with lots of natural dappled tones.
