A cosy pair of gloves, designed with Northern Yarn - 'Ruth' from sheep that graze on Lainsley Hill, just outside Lancaster. Aberfield are a Texel/BFL cross - strong yet soft; perfect for these delicate gloves. 

'Ruth & I hand picked the best fleeces while swallows dived in and out of the barn, it felt like an ancient process and I loved every grounding minute. Named for my good friend and colleague Ruth Matthews, who has worked alongside me for over 5 years now. Just like this yarn she is strong, beautiful and makes the best jumpers!'
